- - Optimized for Artemia
- Nutrient-Rich Composition
- Freeze-Dried Convenience
Introducing Easy Reefs Artemia, an efficient and practical solution for nourishing artemia cultures - also known as Brine Shrimp. Centered around the benefits of marine phytoplankton, Easy Reefs provides a balanced diet for these organisms. This product contains a blend of vitamins, essential fatty acids, amino acids, carbohydrates, and proteins, all necessary for the healthy development of aquarium life.
By freeze-drying marine phytoplankton, Easy Reefs captures its nutritional essence in a convenient, easy-to-use form. This process ensures that the freeze-dried microalgae retain their valuable nutrients, similar to their live counterparts in the ocean. Incorporating Easy Reefs into your marine aquarium care routine offers a straightforward way to deliver a natural, wholesome diet to artemia.
One species is used: Tetraselmis (100%)
Dosing Instructions
The dosage will depend on the number of artemia that we want to feed.
Generally, the consumption is 100 mg (1 level spoonful) per 10 liters of culture per day, for the first 5 days. From day 5, that usually increases to 200 mg per 10 liters of culture per day.
If the water of the artemia culture goes clear after a few hours of adding, then more Easy Reefs Artemia should be added.
Example for an artemia culture in 10 liters (keep with gentle bubbling):
1) Hatch the artemia cyst following the manufacturer directions.
2) Once they have hatched, start feeding with easy reefs.
3) Fill a glass with approx. 0.5 liters of saltwater.
4) Add 100 mg easy reefs (1 level spoonful) and follow the resuspension instructions.
5) Remove 0.5 liters of water from the artemia culture so the prepared microalgae will fit in the tank.
6) Slowly add the resuspended microalgae to the tank.
