Rubidium is an element naturally occurring in seawater. Although the exact influence of rubidium on marine organisms is still unknown, it is consistently consumed within a closed aquarium and should therefore be replenished via supplementation in order to maintain seawater parameters consistent with those found in nature
- - Designed for saltwater aquariums
- Concentrated pure rubidium supplement
- Mimics natural seawater conditions
Supplement contains concentrated rubidium. It’s a compound of natural seawater, therefore, in order to provide aquarium inhabitants with conditions as close to natural environment as it is possible, it should be dosed regularly. The influence of rubid on marine organisms functioning has not been determined, however, the reserves of this element are systematically consumed by the inhabitants of the aquarium.
Dosage
1 ml of the product increases the rubidium level by 0.002 mg/l (ppm) in 100 litres (27 US gal) of water. Recommended level: 0.10 – 0.14 mg/l (ppm) Dosage should be based on microelements consumption. Please remember, that maximum safe daily dose is 5 ml per 100 litres of water. If you need a higher dose, split it into a few days. Note, that each aquarium is different and final dosage depends on the coral cast and individual aquarium needs. Both, deficiency and excess micronutrients will affect aquarium inhabitants, therefore dosage should be selected and modified on the basis of regular Aquaforest Lab water tests.
