Schego PTC Heaters
TRUST A SECURE CONNECTION: HEATERS, PTC HEATERS AND THERMOSTAT
The Schego heaters are made of high-quality titanium tubes and are therefore unbreakable and seawater-resistant. All heating elements are earthed and guarantee a high safety standard. Their power range is from 50 to 600 W.
The new PTC aquarium heaters made of titanium tubes are particularly energy-efficient, because their performance depends on the heat dissipation. If a lot of heat is extracted from the heater, it automatically adjusts its temperature and increases its performance. As soon as the maximum temperature is reached, the performance decreases again and hardly any current flows. Thanks to this self-regulating property, PTC heaters cannot overheat, which makes them particularly safe.
When a certain temperature has to be reached and maintained, the Schego thermostat TR2 is used. It can be loaded up to 2000 W and is ideal for both hobby aquarium owners and professional users due to its simple operation. The LC display shows the operating parameter, the measuring range is from – 55 °C to + 125 °C. The indexing accuracy can be selected from 0.1 °C to 10.0 °C in 0.1 °C increments. The display can be rotated 180° via keys. The TR2 can reliably regulate both cooling and heating devices.
