Concentrated powdered blend offers an economical solution to maintaining proper magnesium levels. Two Little Fishies Magnesium Pronto is a fast-dissolving blend of pure anhydrous magnesium chloride and magnesium sulfate that rapidly raises magnesium ion concentration, important for reef aquariums stocked with corals, clams, snails, tubeworms, and calcareous algae.
Dissolve Two Little Fishies Magnesium Pronto in purified fresh water to create a stock solution.
5 ml (1 teaspoon) of stock solution added to 3,785 liter of water will increase the magnesium concentration by 12.5 ppm.
Directions
Create a stock solution by dissolving 10 grams (about 2 tsp) of Magnesium Pronto in 8 oz (250ml) of purified water. Five ml (1 teaspoon) of stock solution added to one gallon of water will increase the magnesium concentration by 12.5 ppm. Add 5ml per 10 US gallons daily to achieve a magnesium concentration of 1,300 ppm. Thereafter, dose weekly as needed.
Contents: Anhydrous Magnesium Chloride and Magnesium Sulfate.
Guaranteed Analysis: Magnesium 43.0% min
Warning: Keep out of reach of children. Magnesium Pronto generates heat when mixed with water. Do not add directly to the aquarium without dissolving it first in water. Handle with rubber gloves. Do not breathe dust. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. In case of contact, immediately flush skin with plenty of water. For eyes, flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and seek medical attention.
Not for human consumption. For aquarium use only. Not for use with fish raised for human consumption. Keep lid tightly closed to keep out moisture.
General Information
Supplemental magnesium is often required for reef aquariums because corals, clams, snails, tubeworms, and calcareous algae extract it from the water. Use a magnesium test kit to measure the magnesium concentration in the water. It should be maintained between 1,280 and 1,350 ppm at a seawater density of 1.025.
