Aquaforest Strontium is a highly concentrated supplement of strontium and barium. Strontium, after calcium and magnesium, is one of the most important elements needed to accelerate the growth of stony skeletal structures in SPS and LPS corals. It supports the formation of hard coral skeletal tissue and significantly improves calcium absorption, while also being a essential nutrient for soft corals like gorgonians, zoas, and mushrooms.

Chromium is a naturally occurring element in seawater that is quickly consumed by marine organisms in an aquarium system. This element plays an important role in the absorption and use of fatty acids in corals. When values drop too low, corals may experience slow growth and reduced food response.

Aquaforest Fluorum is a concentrated supplement of fluorine, a naturally occurring element in seawater. Fluorine participates in the calcification process and supports skeletal tissue. AF Cobaltum is a supplement of concentrated cobalt. Cobalt is essential for metabolic changes in all living organisms and is a vital part of vitamin B12. It is especially beneficial for fish coloration and growth of beneficial algae and bacteria.

Barium is an element naturally occurring in seawater. Although the exact influence of barium on marine organisms is still unknown, it is consistently consumed within a closed aquarium and should therefore be replenished via supplementation in order to maintain seawater parameters consistent with those found in nature. Usage of zeolites-based filtration media in the aquarium may lead to potassium deficiency. Therefore, regular and balanced use of Kalium is recomended to maintain a proper level of potassium in your reef system. The recommended level of potassium in the reef aquarium is 360-380 mg/l.
